La Taniere is the cutest and most romantic restaurant in Champel! I absolutely love this place. Outside, a tiny little house from the beginning of the XX century in the middle of buildings full of apartments. On the inside, the coziest, most beautiful and delicious food you could think of! I love that there is a staircase and that you can have dinner on the first floor, it makes it even more unique.

I love that there is a staircase and that you can have dinner on the first floor, it makes it even more unique.
Really, it is surprising how good the food is there! It is not an easy place to find since they do not have Instagram and they do not communicate much about it (also because it is ALWAYS full). Just look at the photos, the plates are a pure work of art! I really appreciated that as a side dish they propose the röstis, it is so comforting!
I have been there several times, either for a lunch with a friend (they have great lunch specials at a reasonable price) or a romantic dinner with my husband. There is this familiar feeling when going in, like you are the only person to know about this place!
Make sure to make a reservation since it is full most of the time!
