I love when colder days start kicking in and all you want are cozy moments and cozy places and cozy food. This is when an Afternoon Tea is just the thing! And you can do it either during the weekend or during the week (if you a flexible schedule, like me ?).
Below, you will find my favorite Afternoon Tea places in Geneva. They are all located inside beautiful hotels. My recommendation is to call in advance, to make a reservation and remember to order the scones and different pastries since sometimes you might need to wait, or they will not be able to do it a-la-minute.

Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Tea-Time.
Wonderful tea-time in the elegant Bar des Bergues with stunning china and delicious pastries. I particularly loved this Afternoon Tea because of the meticulous details and the beautiful setting.
It is no secret that I am very fond of this hotel; everything about it is beautiful, well executed and of course delicious. But the Afternoon Tea is really special; I have recommended it so many times in DMs! It is the most iconic one, in my opinion, and I love the location of the hotel.
The plates are the most fun and cutest ever! How can you not spend a wonderful afternoon eating on these plates! Also, a note, avoid having lunch or dinner when you go, since it is quite a lot!

Ritz Carlton Hotel de La Paix.
This was the latest Afternoon Tea I tried, right before the lockdown! It is super nice, and I really appreciated the service and the different variations of savory and sweet. They have an option with a glass of champagne that makes it extra special.
The wonderful thing about The Livingroom at The Ritz Carlton is the modern décor and luminous setting. Very different from other places. The hotel was recently renovated, and they did a great job on keeping the historic feel but giving it a modern twist and interesting ambiance.

Hotel D’Angleterre.
This Afternoon Tea is a must do in Geneva! It has been available for a very long time and was the first one of its kind! Always incredibly beautiful, delicious and very instagramable too!
My favorite thing about this particular Afternoon Tea, is the fact that they also have a vegan and gluten free version! I tried this version a couple of years back, and I always recommend it to my friends that are looking for intolerance options!
I loved that the visual side is not affected due to the gluten-free or vegan side of things, it is still beautiful and delicious. The view is spectacular, the lakeside and the shores are super nice to watch from the restaurant and the hotel is super nicely decorated.
Enjoy it with a glass of champagne! It makes it way more fun!
