I wanted to share with you the new menu at the Summer Lodge of La Réserve Genève created by Emmanuel Soares. I was very lucky to be sharing my table with Nouhad from choisistonresto.com and Althea to discover this amazing and surprisingly fresh new menu at this wonderful place.
The BEST way to get there is always by boat. You can call and reserve the boat to pick you up in Geneva
The new menu is inspired by Japanese gastronomical traditions, Peruvian cuisine and South American flavours.
We decided to order everything at the same time (because of instagram of course hihi) and also to be able to choose different dishes and share among us.
With this menu I believe it is the best option! There are so many good things you do not want to miss anything do you?
There are three different Poke Bowls, Tuna, Salmon & Vegan!
We had the tuna one and it was amazing!! I am such a fan of this simple delicious dish, and to have it there was a dream!
This was my favorite dish of the menu: Sea Bass Carpaccio, carrot orange & passion fruit dressing…. oh I got goosebumps by just remembering this flavour!
Oh! Hi there mocktails…. anything more “holiday like” than seeing this tray arriving to your table? Nah
These were not really on the menu, but we asked them to create 3 refreshing non-alcoholic drinks for us to refresh from the oh-so-warm-day (hey, riding a boat to the other side of the lake is hard work people… hihi) and that they were not too sweet so we could have them with our meal.
Just a gastronomical break to tell you that you can admire Manolo Valdés sculptures at the gardens of La Réserve until end of August.
The second one (with the leaves) created such an emotion on me, it is simply beautiful!
Moving on with La Comida , these lobster summer rolls are super tasty and fresh!!
There is also a great variety of Japanese sushi like Nigiris, makis and sashimis. We asked for an assortment to be able to try several.. all amazing!
The menu is HUGE, we had a tiny tiny part of it! They also make delicious pizzas, grilled meat & fish and other starters and desserts. Consult the full menu here.
