Hello, dears.

First of all Happy New Year 2019! I really wish you lots of happiness.

For this year, I want to share with you my personal Swiss Bucket list. I am hoping to check them all off this year, so clearly I need to start planning!

Last year I shared 5 amazing hotels to add to your 2018 bucket list

Switzerland is such a beautiful country. It is worth visiting and discovering it! From Geneva, it is easy to move by train, car, boat or bike (!!) from one place to another. In Switzerland we have many natural landscapes, stunning hotels and memorable gastronomic experiences. Here are some that I would love to do this year:

#1
Lake Blausee.

I discovered this Swiss paradise from scrolling on instagram for Swiss inspiration and became obsessed with it! This year I am dreaming of visiting this place and maybe even having a shoot there!

#2
Aescher Restaurant & hike!

It is on all the lists of “things to see in Switzerland” and yet, I haven’t been! I would love to visit this place and the beautiful views it offers!

This has been one of the most visited places in Switzerland ever since it was featured on a National Geographic cover!

#2
Stay at Hotel 7132.

This hotel has been on my list for a very very long time and I decided to just do it this year! It is located literally in the middle of Switzerland and has stunning architecture, beautiful design and is known for great service! Who doesn’t dream of waking up in the middle of Swiss nature!

#4
Walk the dogs at Col du St. Bernard.

Imagine yourself surrounded by cheerful Bernard puppies and then going for a walk with them. I don’t know about you, but for me, this looks like heaven.

#5
St. Moritz.

I am going to tell you a secret … I have never set foot in St. Moritz! I know… shame on me. I just haven’t had the chance and it’s not like you can just quickly hop on a train and get there. I takes 6hrs by car and 7 by train, so it’s better to plan for a bit longer than a weekend there. Fingers crossed, soon you will see a post like the one below on my feed!

#6
Spend a night at Chetzeron Hotel.

You know how much I love Crans-Montana! We go there almost every year and I used to live there when I was a student. However, I have never had the chance to stay in this stunning and unique hotel in the middle of the slopes. You go to sleep in the middle of the snow and wake up to the most wonderful views!

#7
Visit Lac de Joux.

At only 1.5 hrs from Geneva, you have the biggest natural skating rink in Switzerland and Europe. In the winter the lake freezes and it becomes a winter wonderland! Equipment is available for hire in Le Sentier or Le Pont, during the busy period.

#8
Visit Interlaken and stay at the Victoria Jungrauf.

Interlaken is considered one of the most beautiful regions of Switzerland with breathtaking views of the lakes and mountains surrounding the landscape! I would love to visit the region and stay in the legendary Victoria Jungfrau hotel!

#9
Have dinner at Domaine de Châteauvieux.

One of the few Two-Michelin-Star restaurants in Switzerland and not far away from Geneva (it is actually in the canton!). Philippe Chevrier is the chef of  Domaine de Chàteauvieux and his cuisine is known to be amazing! So it is more than obvious that it should be on my bucket list this year!

Have dinner at The Restaurant of the Dolder Grand.

Also a Two-Michelin-Star restaurant! And also Chef of the Year 2019 by Gault et Millau, The Restaurant is a must try in Zurich and of course Switzerland too!

Take the Glaciar Express from Zermatt to St. Moritz.

You know how much I love Zermatt and the views from there! One of my dreams, since I came to Switzerland, is to take the Glaciar Express! It is a unique experience in terms of views, landscapes and visits. I need to book it now for the next winter season!

#12
Spend a night at the Mirador and enjoy their wonderful view.

The views from this hotel are unique and probably one of the best of the Leman Lake! This year I want to wake up to this view!
