If you are looking for a weekend getaway in a winter wonderland, Adelboden is the perfect place for a relaxing weekend retreat!
We stayed at the stylish Cambrian Hotel, where nature meets style and design marries comfort into a perfect harmony of relaxation and spectacular views.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps (please see pictures below), the service is impeccable and extra friendly. I loved the amount of details in everything they do, either the decoration, the objects in your room, the bottle of water they give you at the end of your stay and the postcards they share so you can send to your beloved ones!
You can really feel everything was meditated, and planned for a perfect stay…
We started with a walk in the village, which is charming! We visited the Church, the boutiques and the small streets. Afterwards, we walked up the mountain for a nice power walk, we wanted to be tired and hungry for our delicious dinner at night! Unfortunately, there was no snow, but everything was frozen in a magical way. We were not expecting snow, so it did not bother us, we wanted to discover a little bit more of Switzerland, relax in the spa, do a little bit of sport and have a nice romantic dinner.
The rooms are amazing, very spacious and with a great view of the mountains!
After the power walk in the woods we enjoyed their amazing spa and water area!!!! They have an interior pool and an exterior heated pool, sauna, hammam, and silent area; without forgetting the tea, water, nuts and dried fruits supplied to hydrate your body and give you energy. Super happy to relax in this amazing place!
After sport, relaxation and some swimming, we got prepared for a nice dinner in the restaurant of the hotel! They offered us a cocktail before dinner so we went to Scott’s Bar for an aperitif, it is a modern bar, with a touch of mountain decor that blends very well together; again the service was impeccable.
After the cocktail we began the serious things! We enjoyed a 4-course-menu in their alpine restaurant! Check their menu here!
I do not have any pictures of the restaurant, because I was too exited eating my food, but I can assure you that the presentation was beautiful and again very delicate service, good wines and great atmosphere! Here are some pictures of the hotel and the village at night!
A good night sleep is guaranteed in this magical atmosphere and a mouthwatering breakfast/brunch will be waiting for you in the morning! (On Sundays breakfast is until 12pm!!!!!)
I hope you will like to discover this great hotel and enjoy it as much as I did! Thank you Cambrian, for this lovely stay, we are looking forward to come back with tons of snow! Wishing you all the best! xx
*Most pictures are mine, except the one of the spa and the breakfast restaurant with the pool view! Thank you Cambrian for sharing your lovely pictures!
